Residential Agency - We specialise in the sale, purchase and letting of some of the most desirable property in the region. Whilst this includes a considerable proportion of high value property, price is not the singular determinant and we are proud of our reputation for dealing with some of the most interesting and challenging transactions. We apply the same care and attention to all our instructions and deal with a significant number of investment and renovation properties alongside more substantial town and country residences.

Commercial Agency - At Foster Maddison we offer discreet and personal consultancy, primarily to landlords and investment purchasers. We value confidentiality in our transactions and, as a result, act for a wide range of private and public sector landlords, charities and charitable trusts, public utilities and institutional clients. Our commercial property services include: investment sale and purchase, freehold and leasehold sales, lease renewal and rent review negotiations, property management - particularly mixed residential and commercial portfolios, asset and secured lending valuations and tenant disputes.

Land and New Homes - Our News Homes Division offers a bespoke service to land owners, house builders and developers throughout the North of England. We are engaged in development land transactions across the northern counties and offer specialised services for marketing and sale of new build and farm building conversion projects from our regional office in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Property Management - Residential Management is divided into two categories. We offer a full management service to Landlords from our Residential Lettings Department at Hexham and a specialist Ground Rent Management Service to national housebuilders and private landlords from our regional office in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Survey and Valuation - Our senior valuers are qualified members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and combined offer over 40 years of experience in the local market. We offer an extensive range of property appraisals and valuation reports including homebuyers surveys and valuations, structural surveys, mortgage and secured lending reports (for banks and building societies), probate, inheritance tax and capital gains tax valuations, asset valuations for companies and pensions trusts, Charities Act reports, development appraisal reports and investment analysis.

Planning and Development - We offer a bespoke service to help clients to unlock development potential from a wide range of properties including greenfield development sites, farm buildings and redundant steadings, brownfield land, redundant commercial premises, residential property with potential for redevelopment and mixed commercial and residential schemes.
